Is Summer ARTS Camp the Right Fit for Your Child?

Every child is different. Some can’t wait to be on stage, while others are more comfortable behind the scenes. Some already live in dance shoes; others are trying the arts for the very first time. So how do you know if this camp is a good fit for your child?
Our answer: Summer ARTS Camp is designed with a wide range of kids in mind.
It’s a great fit for:
Kids ages 6–11 who love to move, sing, draw, or just try new things—even if they’ve never taken a formal class before.
Teens ages 12–15 who want to grow as performers, build leadership and stage presence, or have a creative outlet beyond screens.
Kids who benefit from structure during the day but still need room to play, make choices, and express themselves.
Families who want a consistent 9:00 am–3:00 pm schedule with the option for early care or aftercare.
What if my child is shy?
We see shyness as a strength, not a problem. Quiet kids often observe first, then surprise everyone when they feel safe enough to share. Our small-group environment and gentle, step-by-step activities give them time to warm up and participate at their own pace.
What if my child is already very experienced?
Great. Experienced dancers, musicians, or actors will have opportunities to:
Take on more challenging material.
Lead small sections or mentor younger campers (where appropriate).
Build a “portfolio” of pieces over multiple weeks, especially with the weekly Friday performances.
What about cost or scheduling?
We know summer planning can be complicated. That’s why we’ve:
Made it possible to enroll for individual weeks or the full 7‑week session, so you can work around vacations and other camps.
Kept tuition consistent at $450 / week, with optional early care and aftercare add‑ons for working families.
Created a scholarship application for families who need financial assistance (details on the registration page).
